Central Bark Grooming

I took my German Shepherd for a bath and pedi when she opened her shop during the grand opening. I have a very hard time finding a groomer for Cheyenne bc she is a rescue and a reactive dog - esp around other dogs. Donna and I spoke about it and she completely understood and suggested scheduling her appointment as the first one of the day so as to eliminate her being around other dogs. I loved how kind she was and how accommodating she was to Cheyenne. When I came to pick up Cheyenne, she was so soft and smelled wonderful! I was so pleased and thought we had finally found our groomer. But when Cheyenne got in the car she started shaking her head violently. This went on thru the next day. I had my dogs groomed here twice. The grooming itself was well done and professional. Interpersonally, however, I didn’t feel especially welcome. After the first groom, both dogs developed ear infections, so at the second appointment I asked that their ears not be plucked going forward. I wasn’t accusing or seeking compensation, just sharing a preference. The interaction felt defensive, and when I picked them up Donna said my dogs were “exceptionally dirty,” which was surprising given they are indoor dogs who are regularly groomed. I had a third appointment scheduled and reached out four days in advance to ask about rescheduling due to a work conflict. Donna and her husband are doing a wonderful job! It was easy to see Donna’s decades of experience in the grooming business. My 75lbs sheep-a-doodle was a mess when we took him in… Donna straightened him out and he is looking super sharp. Donna’s pricing is very reasonable and she took far less time than other groomers to get Remi fixed up. Great job, thanks Donna! 10\10 See you in 8 weeks.

Donna was absolutely fabulous!! I have 2 golden retrievers and was a little scared at first as to how they would react but they went in and settled right down. When I picked them up they both looked amazing! Jetson had been trimmed beautifully and Maple was so soft and shiny. She went above and beyond my expectations!! I will definitely be coming back!! I highly highly recommend Central Bark Grooming!!

I took my sweet Alaskan Kleekai to get groomed. Donna was the best, you can tell how much she loves what she does. Keesha looked so refreshed when I picked her up. Will be back soon with my lab. Thanks for pampering my baby!
