If I could leave zero stars, I would most certainly do so. On New Year's Eve, our family suffered the loss of our dog. Already reeling from this, we figured to go to our vet to handle the humane disposal of our dog. Not only were they inexplicably closed on a non-holiday, but we were also unable to even take care of our dog's remains until today, January 2nd. We went to the vet and were quoted an outrageous price for a communal cremation. We left. We went to another vet and that vet was extremely nice, sympathetic and the price was far less than Center Rutland Vet. Do not go to Center Rutland Vet unless you enjoy being ripped off and treated like the way we were. Make sure you get everything in writing, the lady behind the desk does a poor job when answering the phone and clearly doesn’t listen to what you want done with your pets. When I had to put my dog to sleep I (and the people I was with) stated we wished to have him cremated and returned back to us. This was mentioned a few times to which she said okay but apparently didn’t care to listen. She put it down as a group cremation which means you do not receive your beloved pet or anything! Thank god I took his collar home and the kind vet tech shaved some of his fur after we said our final goodbyes. I waited a whole month thinking that they must of been busy before I finally reached out and asked when I would get them back, and the rudeness that the receptionist treated me with was beyond belief

I have been taking my 6yr old maltipoo and 2 year old sister cats to Center Rutland since we moved here two years ago. My dog needs regular dental cleanings which they provide. It is THE most affordable I’ve found in any area. The staff have always been gracious and timely with appointments. Just this week my cat had a foreign object stuck in her intestines. They got her in immediately and after multiple tests they were able to do an emergency surgery. The communication and compassion was beyond my expectations. We were able to take her home the next day. I called two days later concerned about the amount of food she was getting and they wanted us to bring her in right away. Dr. Ray showed us how to properly feed and medicate an unwilling cat. I’m very impressed with the care we received,

Just came into this place to have my grandmother. Does dog be seen?He needed his nails clipped and to have a Lyme disease. He's test done to check him. The doctor was wonderful.One of the nurses she was wonderful, but the head receptionist is rude disrespectful and has no respect, my grandmother has a problem. Breathing and her dog ended up getting very scared and slipped his collar again. My grandmother cannot breathe well. She did not have her oxygen with her. And this woman screamed at her and made her cry, because she couldn't chase her little dog and needed help thankfully, the young lady that was there was able to get my mother's dog and bring him outside to me when I asked why they just didn't call me.She didn't realize she could have

Very attentive yo my dog's needs. Sensitive to personal needs and concerns. Occasional long wait but the reason is for the clients and pets safety.
