I really loved coming here. I actually work at another cat adoption lounge (though I also had a coworker that worked here for awhile), and honestly, location aside (public transit w/transfers can be a pain with delays up to 30 minutes from SF, so get there early!), I prefer this space for cat adoptions. It's spacious, super clean, not crowded, and there are private rooms for some cats too, which makes it very easy to meet and get to know those adoptable cats personally. We ended up spending nearly all of our time cuddling with Koala, who was extremely affectionate and adorable. I really wish we could have adopted her, but we already have a cat who likely wouldn't get along with other cats. T_T I really hope the best for Koala and all of the cats.
This is the best cat cafe I have been to! You can tell that the cats are happy and comfortable. There is a big room for the playful cats, and a bunch of smaller private rooms for the more introverted cats. I have gone many times and always have a great visit :)
I did a walk-in just to have a quick peek today and they fortunately had one spot open! The cats were so friendly and receptive to pets and scratches. The separation of studios further inside the cafe was really cool for individualized socializing. It's also super clean and stocked with toys and seating areas. The decor and cat houses were so cute too!
The hour went by too quickly!!! The cats are so cute. Some are very affectionate or playful, and the volunteers give tips on the cats' personalities so you know who to approach and who to leave alone.
My husband and I went here for the first time and really quite enjoyed our visit. It’s very affordable and a great date idea. It’s best to make a reservation and arrive a few minutes early. The entrance to cat town is their coffee shop. Cat town has several, wonderful cats ranging from kittens to adults. The main room with all the cats was a bit overwhelming with all the people, so I was thankful that they had separate rooms where you could play quietly with cats. They provided plenty of toys, hand sanitizer, etc the staff was super helpful. The cats were absolutely lovely. They were friendly, a few of them walked into our lap or on my husband’s shoulders. It was a heavenly experience.
