Carpetino

Awful company! We just bought a home, call out a few companies as the home required lots of upgrades. We call Carpetinos, first off their customer service well I felt like they hadn't the slightest clue what line of work they were in. They were practically repenting everything my husband ask. While they were able to make their way down to our house for measurements, no one ever call us back to come in to pick out our carpeting. We stop by a few times but no one is ever there. We actually stop in approximately 2 weeks before to check the company out. No one there. So very bad.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company’s services. My fiancée and I hired Carpetino to do a carpet installation on our small beach condo. We scheduled the installation with Carpetino twice, having taken off work to meet the installer each time. When the appointed time arrived, they were a no show. Twice we scheduled an appointment and each time was a no show with no contact until after the the appointed time. After the 2nd no show, we tried calling to find out what happened and they never bothered to call us back. We were extremely frustrated that our time and even money (due to taking off work for the install appointments) was wasted. Please do not waste your time/money with this company as we did.

We moved to a condo in Oxnard at the end of October and needed new carpet asap because the pet hair and stains from the previous tenants was bad. We went to Home Depot and they said they could have it installed by Thanksgiving (four weeks). We went to Lowe's, they said 3 weeks. I said, well that was better than 4 weeks at Home Depot, and the salesperson said, that's probably more likely. I asked, 4 weeks? And he said yes. Feeling anxious, we went to The Flooring Factory and they said they don't do small sq. footage, but recommended CARPETINO'S. We went in and talked to MIKE. He was very, very, helpful and knowledgeable, and said, no job is too small : ) They have many remnant rolls in the back they can install right away, but we chose a carpet he needed to order. I have been buying from Carpetino for over 20 years, my wife wants to change the color of the carpets every few years.. After our cats have left, we replaced carpets with tile. What a differnce! The prices were 1/2 of what other companies advertise on TV. Some of the carpet wasn't in stock, but they were able to install what we had selected within 10 days. WOW!

The store is packed with a lot of stuff. The guy there was sick coughing and sneezing no air. It would throw samples on the counter of what he had. It wasn’t a good experience and would never go back.
