By far the best vet I have taken our fur baby to and the only vet I will go to from here on. Dr. Covitz and his staff at Carmel Animal Hospital exhibit all of the core values of life: safety, caring, integrity, passion and fun! I like the fact that it’s a small establishment which means you are not just a number like at all the big vet corporations. I have never had a bad experience and our dog actually enjoys seeing everyone there because they treat her with love and respect. Honestly, I think the real reason why she loves going is because she loves the beautiful, relaxing pond outside of the entrance. She opens the gate herself once she arrives. Thank you Carmel Animal Hospital! Keep doing what you do best!

Dr Covitz is the absolute best vet you’ll ever find. He came in today even though they were closed because I was concerned about my cat. She ended up having a respiratory infection and he gave her antibiotics and fluids to help her fight it and keep her hydrated, all while on his day off!! He was also the only vet that was able to solve my cats anal gland problem out of two other vets that I took her to. This man is a godsend. Don’t hesitate to come here because he genuinely loves these animals!

My dog had lymes in July first thing the vet wanted me to bring my dog back in the office for weight which she was in the office on June 28th and was called saying she had lymes on July 3rd , no one recorded my dogs weight I am not going to bring my dog for a weight check and spend money on that after I told them her weight which I remembered from the visit. I picked up the antibiotics and I had a question regarding the medication called 3 times no phone call back which is completely unprofessional . I will be taking my dog to another vet who actually cares about your animal!!

I took my beloved 18 year old cat to Carmel Animal Hospital and was extremely touched by the compassion. He was very sick. The doctor provided options, but ultimately we knew the right thing to do was end his suffering. It said something to me that a bunch of expensive tests weren’t pushed on me with little chance of a quality of life for our cat. I found them to provide reasonable options, but also realistic in outcomes. The entire staff was kind and supportive. I truly appreciated the way the doctor spoke to my children and gave them time to say their goodbyes. This was an extremely difficult time for our family, and I could not have asked for anything to be done differently.

This is a wonderful practice, my pets are always relaxed coming here. Dr Covitz and the staff are so compassionate and really love animals. When I had to put my 14 year old cat to sleep, I can't even tell you how kind everyone was; my sweet girl went so peacefully and gently. I am grateful. I will only ever take my pets here.
