Care First Animal Hospital at Tryon

I am very pleased with the service I receive from Care First. They are thorough and very accommodating with scheduling and taking excellent care of my two dogs.

We love Care First! Our favorite is Dr. Craven. She not only has always loved my dogs immensely she takes the best care of them whenever they are there and always breaks things down and teaches me things I dont know while making it easy to understand all the dialogue.. I recently had to put our senior dog down in December and she could not have been more kind during the hardest time of my life im thankful for that. I also refer people to her and they have nothing but great things to say as well!! So grateful for her! Highly recommend this clinic!

We had a very scary emergency with our Yokie; I called our regular vet who honestly wasn’t helpful with the exception of recommending care first. I called around to another pet hospital who didn’t answer the phone and called Careafyer, They answered on the first ring. I was able to share symptoms over the phone and they even took my information so that a chart was already created when I arrived. The care and concern for our sweet pet was so appreciated and it comforted me right away. The vet was able to a full assessment in a very reasonable amount of time, I had such a great experience there, they even were able to do some of the vaccines and nail care while we were there! I would highly recommend them!

We recently brought our pup, Coco, in for her wellness exam and vaccinations, and once again had a great experience at Care First Animal Hospital at Tryon. We’ve trusted them with Coco’s care for the past 3 years—including grooming, boarding, and regular vet visits—and they never disappoint. The staff is always kind, professional, and genuinely caring. They take time to explain everything clearly and always make sure Coco is comfortable and calm. It’s such a relief to have a place that treats your pet like family. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-notch veterinary care in the area!

Everyone at Care First is very professional, super friendly and well educated. Dr. Craven in particular seems to have a magic touch with my Boston Terrier. My Boston needed 3 shots (vaccines)- Dr Craven administered all three shots so quickly and covertly that my Boston didn’t even realize she had just been poked three times. They are usually right on time and sometimes can get me in early if I show up early. They don’t stack up appointments forcing me to sit in the waiting room as my designated appointment time passes. Lastly, they do not pressure me into buying services for my dog that she doesn’t absolutely need. They give me recommendations but don’t make me feel obligated to purchase any.
