Canterbury Tails Pet Care Center

Being fairly new to Canterbury, we had to board our dogs(large breed and small breed) for a week. One of our dogs has separation anxiety, so we were concerned about how it might go. Part of the daycare / boarding process is to do a trial day for at least 4 hours. Both dogs did great and had a good report from staff. Upon arrival, they seemed very friendly and efficient. They asked if the dogs should be together or separated and if they can go into a regular kennel or a suite. After our week long trip, upon pick up, we learned they had nightly staff, and they provided us with a report card. They do offer enrichment opportunities, such as water play for a small fee extra. Dog boarding refers to the temporary care of dogs in a professional facility for a fee. After returning from a weekend trip for my daughter's birthday, I was thrilled to see our dogs again. However, upon picking them up and loading them into my car, I was shocked by the overwhelming smell of urine on both of them. I reached out to the facility for more information, but all I got was a lack of concern, leaving me with the unpleasant task of bathing both dogs and cleaning my truck. I really expected more empathy and attention to this issue from the staff.

Love getting my huskies groomed here. The groomers do a fantastic job and all of the staff is super friendly. Bonus is they get to play for a little bit with the daycare doggies before getting groomed which I'm sure they love! Here they are after their last grooming. Also love they are always in a festive scarf when they come home!

Mya loves her days she gets to play with everyone at daycare ! She gets excited on the way there and loves all her friends ! She loves getting groomed there and looks and smells great after. The nails is such a bonus ! The staff is so friendly and Mya knows them all ! Astro is one today and I was so happy to bring him to spend his time playing with his friends ! Mya and Astro receive the best care at Canterbury Tails I appreciate the staff here so much !
