Riverside Animal Hospital

We have been taking our cats and kittens to Riverside Animal Hospital since 2023 and are very happy with the veterinarians, techs and all the support staff. I think they are competitively priced, are very knowledgeable, especially about senior pet care, and truly care about your animals! We had two senior cats who had complicated medical conditions and the level of expertise and compassion helped us through all the ups and downs. Especially when we had to say goodbye to our girls. I know our new kittens will be well cared for because of our experience here. I can’t recommend this wonderful clinic enough!

We have been going to Riverside for years and they truly are the best. We have seen multiple vets there and they are all amazing and take their time to discuss any thoughts or concerns- they are also great at communication ( either phone calls or email). We had an emergency over the weekend and I called the office today and I was able to be seen within a few hours of calling. Dr. Moede was incredible, I can't thank her enough for her time and how understanding she was. I would refer all my friends and family to Riverside. They very passionate about the care they provide to our pets.

I have been bringing our dogs here for over a decade and never had a bad experience. They've done everything for us from euthanasia of our previous dog Cepheus (Dr. Ruffing was amazing and compassionate and they had a special separate room with a private entrance) to wellness exams to vaccines to tooth removal surgery, to general care). I have seen everyone on staff at least once. Recently, we had an appointment on Monday, February 9, 2026. Dr Max, whom we have not seen before because he is somewhat newer to the staff, was friendly and answered all my questions and concerns about Gypsy's eye concern and possible dental cleaning needs. His explanations were succinct and easy to understand. He even showed me a picture of what cherry eye looks like so I can see it, and what to do and look for

Thank you Dr. Mandy Ruffing and all the staff at Riverside!!! I welcomed a little puppy to my family and Riverside was beyond excellent getting her in for some blood work and vaccines, along with my old lady puppy for a wellness checkup and vaccines. The staff was compassionate, kind, and sensitive to every concern I had and took the time to fully answer my questions. I didn't feel pressured to spend money on extra procedures or guilty for saying no to anything. The girls had a delightful experience and we are so grateful to find a fabulous animal hospital where we feel like family 🥰

We had not been to Riverside for some time, and needed a clinic closer to home because of travel/stress issues with our 11 year old Balinese. The clinic was clean, inviting, and the staff exemplary to our needs and other customers. Dr. Wendling was thorough and attentive and kind to the patient and ourselves. Appointments were on time and not pushed. Our little boy seems to be much better now and we will definitely return as regular clients.
