Excellent groomer. Cutest dog stuff. I travel all the way from Brooklyn to get my cavalier King Charles groomed here. The staff are so kind and accommodating and the groomers here are top notch. The store and grooming facilities are immaculate and my pup always looks so handsome and fluffy when he leaves here. So good! I won’t go anywhere else. Beth at Canine Styles Upper West Side was awesome to us, attentive, thorough, personable - she had a tailor’s sensibility in sizing and fitting Mayor - our little Norwich Terrier - who is new to New York (from LA) in a winter freeze 🥶. While most stores just point you to a section and leave you to sort through a pile of frocks she (and the whole staff on deck, frankly) was attentive and helped us try on different winter coats (and carry bags…and well, a new bed that we got him 😏, too) like a personal concierge (and it wasnt salesy or pushy at all - consultative). Beth and team really advised us the best fits for Mayor’s personality, body type, and activities. I recently moved back to the UWS with my 2 Dachshunds. Every time I saw a beautifully groomed Dachshund in the Park I asked where the dog was groomed & the answer was always Canine Styles. They gave my Silky Wirehair the best groom ever, she is like a plush soft toy, the coat is evenly cut & her face & beard stripes perfectly trimmed to show off her coloring. This is a busy place but the staff are friendly & pleasant. The owner was very helpful when I brought my other Hund to buy a coat. Grooming here is more expensive but the price is forgotten when the quality is excellent.

Cute dog shop on the UWS. Never did grooming here but stopped in for a glance at the products. They have lots of different apparel and fun toys, but be prepared to pay $$$$$. Staff was ok—not friendly or welcoming. You’d expect someone to at least welcome you and ask if you need help with anything. Similar to other reviews—it may be that we don’t fit the clientele this boutique is catering to.
