I couldn't be happier with our experience at Canine Magic. I learned so much about canine communication and how to properly observe and understand my dog. The confidence it's built for Layla and I has drastically improved our already good relationship. We went on vacation the day after our last class and it was the best one we've ever had. We could both relax so much more. She hiked her first mountain.. the trail was pretty steep and she didn't try to pull me once! She was right by my side the whole time. We were even able to take her off leash in a few places! I highly recommend this program.

Repeat Customer I can’t say enough about Terry and Mike @ Canine Magic. They have again saved the day for me. 14 years ago I went to Terry to help train my 10 month old Shiloh Shepherd – Morgan - who would not listen or stop barking. Morgan was with us for 13 years and was a great dog *after* we met Terry. I now have another Shiloh Shepherd named Kona who I had to take to Terry & Mike at 5 months old because she wouldn’t listen, was biting, typical puppy stuff, but too the extreme!! The first 2 months w/Kona were horrible and when I knew I had to take her to training, I immediately went to Canine Magic. Canine Magic accommodated our busy schedule with private lessons for our new puppies. We could not be happier...after just one lesson the puppies (and us) were already learning! We finished the lessons and are moving to the group and can't wait to see the continued progress. Mike, the trainer, was so patient and understanding with us and explained the how's and why's. Terry was always so prompt with returning messages and answering any questions. I would give them 10 stars if I was able to. I can’t recommend Terry enough. My dog is so well behaved now! I love how short and quick this training was and how much progress happened in such a little time. I can finally enjoy walking my dog and not have her pull me the whole time. Thank you so much Terry!

Terry is a wonderful trainer. The classes were very informative and the training works so well! It’s hard work but if you commit yourself to following all of the rules the results are amazing. Our rescue was quite stubborn and overactive and did not know how to sit before training and now he knows all his commands and listens well without losing any of his personality. Terry was even willing to talk me through some issues with him a year after our training classes ended. It’s great to have her as a resource whenever we need guidance with our dog’s behavior.
