I have been to several groomers on Long Island and Joanie has been the best of them. Canine Cottage does great work and they take extremely good care of the dogs, which is always my top priority. I have a senior dog and they handled her very gently throughout the entire process. Other groomers I have been to didn't understand the way senior dogs need some extra care and patience. I was extremely pleased with how well Canine Cottage took care of my dog throughout the entire process, and I could see that she wasn't anxious at all. She actually seemed to really enjoy the pampering. The end result looked terrific and the price was much better than all of the other places I've been to, especially compared to some of the prices on the north shore. I’ve been to a lot of groomers for my Yorkie but the cut he received here was hands down one of the best ones . Not to mention the most affordable and best of all he was ready in about an hour
