Judy is incredible! Not only did our dog come back as a better listener but his overall nervous system is much calmer. She helped us understand how we can contribute to how he reacts. He is much more comfortable around new dogs & we feel he is overall enjoying life more. We will certainly use Judy again for future training sessions.

I had an adolescent English Lab, Cody, whom I trained to be a Therapy Dog. He loved his job but lacked focus and attention. He and I took Judy's Control Unleashed Course and the improvement was amazing. He had been bullied in doggy day care and was not interested in other dogs especially those that got in his face. Together we learned that he could have friends and playmates of his choice, great recall and Cody and I came away with an amazing bond that has just increased over the years. Judy helped me see and appreciate the dog in front of me. She noticed that sniffing was his special joy in life and encoraged us to look into scent/tracking work.We did and even now at the age of 12 he lives for those adventures!!! Judy's approach is force free, kind, observant with frequent/valued rewards

Judy evaluated our first dog after he’d been in a fight, and then assisted us to ensure a positive relationship between the two when we got our second dog. I’m not sure it would’ve worked out had it not been for her knowledge and comforting demeanor. I’ve already recommended her services to a few people.

We recently rescued a 5 year old cocker spaniel/pitbull mix, Annie, who snapped at our 11 mo. old grand daughter. When Judy Moore was recommended to us by our trainer, we made an appointment for a behavior assessment. We also had been told Annie did not like other dogs and decided to get Judy's assessment and advice about that, too. In an hour and a half we learned SO MUCH about Annie and the cues she was giving us. Judy also gave us a 7-step method for meeting and greeting other dogs, which I have used successfully to find 2 dog "friends." Annie is now well-adjusted to our grand daughter and she loves to play her favorite ball games with all of my grandchildren. I learn best visually, and Judy has a number of videos on her website, showing her own dogs interacting with people and othe

We recently worked with Judy to conduct a CARAT behavioral assessment for a special-needs rescue puppy we were evaluating. The assessment process itself was very interesting to observe. Each step of the assessment helped reveal personality and behavioral tendencies based on the the dog's reactions, level of interest and engagement, priorities, and attention span. Judy is clearly knowledgeable and has experience working with a wide range of dogs and behaviors. While we could observe certain behaviors ourselves at home, we didn’t have much insight into what might be driving them - they "why". Judy helped provide context and interpretation that made those patterns clearer and gave us a more informed perspective.
