Canine Academy

We did the off leash program. We live on a farm with livestock and this training keeps my dog safe while allowing him freedom to enjoy our full property. We have A busy driveway and knowing he is reliable and listens to stay safe provides us peace of mind and our dog a very happy life! The absolute BEST dog trainer! We just finished the off leash program and are so impressed with Canine Academy. Lisa, Tessa, Patti and Sam were wonderful to work with. They were all so knowledgeable and you can really tell they love what to do. If you have a good dog but want a great dog, take them to Canine Academy and you will not be disappointed!

The Canine Academy is really turning our good dog into a great dog! From learning the basics in the Beginner course to advanced commands and behaviors in the Off Leash program, our Percy has transformed from being a typical puppy to a puppy that impresses people with his behavior for only being a year old! Even more impressive is that he showed significant progress after only a few sessions! Lisa and her team at Canine Academy has done (and continues to do) an awesome job of training me and my Brittany. I’ve used Canine Academy on my previous 3 bird dogs, but for my newest companion, Abbey, I enrolled in the Off Leash program. Initiation, I was hesitant about the cost, but once I saw the finished product, I was TOTALLY pleased. It was well worth the price. I don’t just have a good dog, I have a great canine companion. They trained my pup from beginner class to off leash training and I could not be happier with the results. He is now just over a year old and responds immediately to all my voice commands and hand signals. I especially like the continued training options twice a week for a year to practice our skills. Lisa and her staff are helpful with any questions or specific help you need. For example, our dog hated nail clipping and ear cleaning. Lisa made a video to show exactly what she did, how she did it and went into detail so I knew how to keep him calm and allow me to do it at home. Dog training is really owner training, and they explain things so well. They also offer drop off training during the day on an individual basis so if you it’s better than a day care - it’s day care and training!
