Cal's Pet Supply

I have lived in the Richmond neighborhood for many years and finally made it to Cal's Pet Supply. What a pleasant experience. The owner Tricia is so friendly, helpful, compassionate, and generous. I told her that my cat Matilda had to be put to sleep recently and that the younger cat Snooker had fleas. She gave me a dose of Advantage (to kill fleas on cats) for free, no charge! She also gave me some little treats to give Snooker. She was very nice to everyone that came in. There seem to be many customers that frequent this store. I can't believe that I did not come here before for cat supplies. I have been lazy and ordering online, but do believe that we should support our local merchants. Cal's Pet Supply will be seeing more of me. Thank you Tricia for a great experience.

You know.... it doesn't get better than a neighborhood based business like this. Jasper and team are simply amazing. They obviously love animals and have so much compassion for them and the owners. They never try to upsell you, and are as honest as the day. Our dog is towards the end of his days, and they had wonderful advice, and nothing but compassion and good advice, I love these people. I wish we could give them 10 stars. Highly recommend.

People here are friendly, know their products well, and even suggest deals to you! my doggo loves getting treats from them too when she comes in the store with me

Truly the kindest people. I've dropped in every now and then for some treats for my pets over the last 15+ years and I've always found they are the friendliest and most helpful people ever!!! I have a dog that's reactive to other dogs and they helped me navigate the store safely when another dog came in. I also like that they have a dedicated green zone for customers since parking is a little crazy on that block with Angelina's being right across the street.
