Brougher Companion Animal Shelter - York County SPCA

From the first time we walked into York SPCA we were greeted with friendly helpful people. Our adoption of our kitten was easy & stress free as was the help I received with advice on all my concerns of dealing with our new pet. I have called back there several times with questions & concerns & everyone has always been very helpful! God Bless the SPCA!

I adopted a kitten for my dog as a Christmas gift, due to the fact we had to lay our senior dog down a few months ago. Unfortunately I am allergic to her cat dander. My Jack Russell which that breed was bred to kill rodents in England instinctively thinks she's a rodent and wants to kill her. Things are getting better except for my allergies, but this is a forever home. Service at the shelter was exceptional. My kitten fluffy was actually fostered and litter trained. She is very good with the litter box. She is a cuddle bug. She came with all her shots and she has a microchip. I wouldn't trade her for anything, Aces coming along it's just day by day. I was a little concerned because she had a cold when I picked her up, they sent me home with daily medicine and I can say she is 100% better.

Just wanted to let everyone know. That Ella Has a wonderful home, and she is so happy and so loving, and I want to thank everyone there that helped me that day. Wanted to let you all know that she is doing so wonderful In her new home and that I will take care of her.

We had our dog spayed here and the experience was excellent. Our little miniature poodle did so well and had a perfect recovery. The drop off and pick up process was also very good. Overall a great experience and I highly reccomend.
