Brookside Veterinary Clinic

We’ve been coming to Brookside for the past 3 yrs every 2 months to follow Dr Joe when he left our local vet so we drive 1.5 hrs round trip to Dr Joe and Brookside each trip. That by itself shows the trust we have in this clinic. We recently had to put 1 of our 2 cats to sleep after several yrs diabetic shots. Devastating to us since Slate was our right hand man, always with us 100% time like no other cat or dog we’ve ever had. We drove the 45min to have him put to sleep by our own vet but it was Joe’s day off we couldn’t wait another day. The staff was great and very accomodating and sympathetic. When we were there Joe appeared from the door though his day off he stopped by clinic and saw our names on schedule. We were so happy to see him in a time of such pain for us. He stayed wi

Excellent Vet. From the front desk staff, to the vet techs, and the Veterinarians themselves, you can tell everyone truly cares about animals. Additionally it is evident these people also care about the pet owners, and how important their pets are to them. I have been several times, and every time I have been treated with respect and dignity. Because of this and more I trust them with the animals to the highest degree. One last thing, all vets in the area are very busy, but they always try to accommodate schedules. They also work a few nights a week till 6pm (as of Feb 2026) and that flexibility was always so greatly appreciated.

We had a very scary experience with our senior dog and the vet and all the staff took wonderful care of her and helped us feel informed about what was happening and how best to help her. We're beyond grateful for all of the wonderful staff at Brookside and how well they took care of our girl!

The friendly staff is always accomodating and works with me on scheduling. The competent and caring doctors take good care of our dogs and grateful for the options they provide.

We bring our 3 cats in for their appts, spay and neutering and of course their shots. The great staff, assistants and doctors are always cheerful and pleasant. Very caring and answer all our questions on care for our cats. We love going to Brookside.
