Id agree with another reviewer who stated that this is not a fitting place for cats. I gave two stars instead of one because the young man at register is quite kind and even though my car was stuck in the icy driveway and I was late, the owner was kind to allow a try at grooming. In all the yrs of grooming at another further location, Ive never seen my cat hiss this aggressively/at all. I thought he was just a rescue who lost ability to hiss. Longer drive, but ill need to return to my far away groomer. My cat is still shaking. I cut his nails prior to the groom (just wanted cut) to make this process easier, but they tried to cut his hind(very sensitive to even w me) nails again w/o asking, which I believe is the reason why one should always take note of triggers before dealing with anim

I have a yellow banana catnip toy and my cat loves it, but it's lost its catnip vigor (actually, I'm pretty sure it's older than my cat and she's almost a senior)... So I thought I'd get her a fresh minty new model of the same toy. Brookline Grooming had them but even better they also had a rainbow catnip toy from the same company. Their selection of cat toys is small but good quality. I also got some little catnip mice made from what seems to be very sturdy waxed paper or cloth. There's a wide variety of dog and cat foods and supplies, as well as small sections for pocket pets and birds. I haven't used their grooming service, but the grooming area behind the counter looked clean and well-maintained.

We are so happy that we found Brookline Dog Grooming... our dog has gone for day care and grooming since she was a puppy. The staff are amazing and she has come to love them like aunts and uncles! The dogs who go there for day care also are very sweet and not aggressive. We tried out a couple of day cares in the area and we would never think to bring her anywhere else.

Great place to shop for raw dog food Blue ridge duck quail and salmon. 2 lb Frozen chubs great deal. Also Dr Harvey's dehydrated vegetable mix. It's a winning combo with added salmon oil.

Do NOT take your cat here. Not only the grooming table is surrounded by multiple dogs, but the groomer is borderline abusive. Our cat was traumatized every time we took her there, not only by the dogs and the loud environment, but also by the rough groomer. The haircut was expensive but looked awful and unfinished due to our cat freaking out (which was to be expected from the atmosphere at this place). Needless to say we have switched to another grooming place where the groomers are calming and gentle. Please save your money and your beloved pet from this terrible service.
