Dr. Dotson has provided excellent and compassionate care for our (almost) 3 year old frenchie. She experienced a bulging disc and was in severe pain within the blink of an eye. He has gone above and beyond to treat her, he even fit her in and accommodated us when he had a very busy day and I feel most other vets would have sent her to emergency. He texts to check on her, answer any questions, and he shows compassion and love for her. When your pets are sick and hurting there is so much anxiety that comes along with that. I thank God for Dr. Dotson. His caring heart and servant attitude go a long way when dealing with the unknown and anxiety of when your pets are sick or hurting. Thank you Dr. Dotson!!! Our girl is on the mend!

This was our first visit to Bristol Animal Clinic. We are new to the area and our 16 1/2 year old German Shepherd mix , Molly, had a kidney infection and needed serious help. We have been blessed to have had the pleasure of having some extraordinary veterinarians in her life. And I thought that wasn’t going to happen again having relocated to this area, not knowing anyone. Man was i wrong .., Dr. Dotson is on a level all by himself. Caring, loving, dedicated, professional and treated us like family , more like royalty! He literally rolled out the carpets for Molly, to be able to be comfortable on the polished floor because he immediately noticed that the exam table would be uncomfortable for her and then proceeded to lay with her to get acquainted and very gently evaluate her condition. He

My girl was introduced to Dr Dotson through a chance in counter and she has since then taken our " Best Friend " to Dr D. as she likes to call him. Just know that he is 100 , he love's his job and all our fur babies and I believe would go to any lengths to help them. He's # 1 in this area in my opinion . You can see for yourselves.

Dr Dotson has been the long time vet for my sister’s dogs, my friend’s dogs, my mother’s cat, and he has been the vet to my 5yr old 5lb Maltese. Dotson goes above and beyond for all of his furry patients. He doesn’t overload pets with unnecessary invasive approaches or annual non core vaccinations. He takes a very individualized approach to each pet. Recently, my pup had an anal gland issue and I was worried she would have to have surgery, draining, etc. Dotson recommended antibiotics and she’s fine now. He’s always readily available, very compassionate/knowledgable, humble, and the best vet I’ve ever known. We’re lucky we have him in our area!!
