Bowie Barker South Loop

We love Bowie Barker!!! We followed our previous groomer here and are now members. The place is small and intimate, but very clean. We haven’t used the self wash yet, but plan to do so when the boys need a quick wash. Thank you to Debbie for her kindness and always assisting us at the front and thank you to our favorite groomer ever, Kelly, for always taking care of us! The boys love her immensely. You guys have absolute gems working here! I also love that they send bath photos! :-)

We just started going to Bowie Barker and it's wonderful! The groomers are top notch and the facility is beautiful. I've lived in the South Loop for 6-years and I can say it's the best grooming facility here. Most importantly, I can tell my dog had a wonderful time while he was there. My dog has had the best experience at Bowie Barker! We have been coming here for almost 1 year and checked out the South Loop location. Always the perfect “puppy teddy bear look” given to my bichon frise/poodle mix dog! I always get her the blueberry facial to help with tear staining near her eyes and darkening around her mouth which I highly recommend!

Each time I use Bowie Barker for my Shih Tzu, Otti, I am more and more impressed and grateful that I got the membership and their groomers/bathers/managers/front desk staff are very friendly, professional, and efficient! Affordable membership includes a free bath every other month plus bath includes nail trimming and grinding - what a bonus!

I can’t say enough good things about Bowie Barker Grooming! They did such an amazing job with Nala and Arnie. I was especially nervous about Arnie’s reactivity and occasional aggression, but the team handled him like absolute pros — calm, patient, and so confident. Both pups came out looking fantastic and completely stress-free. It’s so rare to find groomers who are not only talented but also genuinely understand dog behavior. I’m incredibly grateful for their care and professionalism. If you want a stress-free grooming experience for your pups, I highly recommend Bowie Barker!
