We took our cat Tilly for the first time to this event and we didn't know what to expect being that we've never been there, and they went way above our expectations. This place is highly knowledgeable, very patient and kind and very thorough and very informative. I don't even want to go back to my old vet I've been using for years, I rather go to Bond in Bayside. The original vet that we go to is not open on the weekends, so we took a shot with this place and Dr Hugh Giffords was amazing, as well as his staff. I was highly impressed and I felt very comfortable with them and very relieved that we went to this facility and will have no problem taking my cats here again. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Bond Vet. They misdiagnosed my cat with ringworm and immediately prescribed medication. After running the actual tests, there was no sign of ringworm and no signs of any bacterial infection at all. So my cat was given medication she didn’t even need. What makes this worse is how the situation was handled afterward. I called to ask about at least a partial refund, understanding that lab work and services cost money. No one got back to me for a while, and when they finally did, the response was dismissive and disrespectful. They refused to offer any refund or take accountability for the misdiagnosis.
