I love, love, love Dr. Fitzgerald. She was the primary care provider for my fur baby Greg for over a decade. I was looking for a provider that loved cats because some providers have biases about cats. As a cat owner, she understood the complexities of caring for them. She cared for him up until he passed in January. I have a new baby, my Shih Tzu-Poodle mix. He’s 10 weeks old. Even though I have moved out of the area, I knew she would be the doctor for my baby. The staff here has always been supportive, professional and friendly. The office prices aren’t outrageous and they are upfront with all costs. I would definitely recommend. I brought my cat in for a check-up due to ongoing coughing and asthma, which had been previously diagnosed by another vet. My old vet’s office recently closed, so I decided to come here. I had actually been to this clinic before with my cat, but when I called to schedule the appointment, they said there was no record of us in the system. That was a bit surprising, especially since I had filled out a lot of paperwork during my first visit—it felt like that information should still be there. This visit was mainly to discuss the best medications and treatment options for my cat’s asthma. The vet recommended X-rays and blood work, which were estimated to cost around $500, but my final bill ended up being about $800. New and improved interior is super clean and spacious. I love how airy and plenty of sunlight coming in the waiting area. Not cramped and depressing like most vet clinics I've been to. Plenty of room means less crowded when waiting for service. Examination room also clean and well equipped. My doctor is highly attentive and responsive to calls and e-mails. Also, she is great on following up on the progress of treatment and recommendations. I'm satisfied with the service. I highly recommend Astoria Veterinary Group to any pets owner.

I had a great experience at Astoria Veterinary Group. Patty and George at the reception are absolutely wonderful, they always treat my dog Toby with so much care and kindness. Dr. Fitzgerald is extremely thorough and takes the time to explain everything, which I really appreciate. The entire team is very accommodating and makes every visit smooth and stress-free.
