From the moment you walk into Bond Vet Astoria, you feel cared for! Dr. Ng is truly exceptional - patient, attentive, and incredibly thorough. She takes time to explain everything clearly. You can tell she genuinely cares, not only about your pet, but also about making you feel calm and informed as an owner. She brings a sense of confidence and reassurance to every appointment, which makes such a difference when you’re worried about your dog. I also have to mention the nurses and the entire staff - they are amazing. Kind, gentle, organized, and always welcoming. From check-in to follow-up, the whole experience feels professional, but also warm and human. I’m so grateful to have this team taking care of my babies! Highly recommend. 🐾

I booked an appointment to get a check-up for my dog Mimi and to obtain the medical certificate, because I needed the Health Certificate for the airport. But I was surprised when they told me that the doctor refused to see her because she is not a current patient. This kind of treatment honestly upset me, and it shows a complete lack of professionalism and care for new clients. If this is how they treat someone on their very first visit, I can only imagine how they handle more serious situations. This experience was extremely disappointing, and it says a lot about the quality of their service. I honestly do not recommend this place to anyone.

Bond vet never fails to disappoint. This isn’t my first review of the clinic but I will continue to post great reviews anytime my animals go there and get amazing service. My dog has a number of issues and the entire team there continue to do the absolute best in care. I have a 12 year old Boston terrier with multiple issues but even he loves going there and gets excited when we arrive. The staff is always friendly and nice and Dr Ruby will even call me on her days off to give me updates on test results and best next steps to take. Highly recommended!

As a new pet owner, I went to BondVet because my cat had a cough. From the very beginning, I was presented with a large cost estimate listing many tests and procedures “we could do,” which made it clear that the priority was selling services rather than truly understanding my cat’s condition. It felt like they were relying on my fear as a new pet owner to push unnecessary expenses. They sold me an X-ray and told me my cat might have asthma, then recommended starting treatment despite the diagnosis being uncertain. I decided to get a second opinion from another veterinarian. It turned out the coughing was simply caused by very low humidity in my apartment. After fixing that, my cat is now completely fine and never needed medication — or even the X-ray in the first place. No one at BondVe

I can’t say enough great things about BondVet Astoria! The entire team is super friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable (extra shoutout to the amazing Dr. Simmons who has really gone above and beyond for our senior cat!). At first, I was wary of bringing our girl to a vet chain, but after glowing reviews from a friend in the neighborhood, I gave it a try. I’m so glad I did, because they truly give the most loving and thorough care without trying to rip you off. The facility is comfy and clean, and the telehealth option is an added plus. :)
