Blue Step

Carla is great. She came highly recommended by many of my trusted friends. My dog, Nora, was well taken care of and I will continue to have her boarded with Carla. My dog is also very high energy and we are needing some training and I plan on going to Carla.

We had a very energetic goldendoodle puppy who we took to Blue Step. Carla kept him for three weeks and completely transformed him. He is still very energetic but he is able to keep it under control. He follows all the commands and no longer jumps on my kids & every person he meets. I would 100% recommend taking your dog to Carla for training!!!!

Carla has transformed life with our pup, Scout, and made us all much happier! She took the time to understand our challenges and to get to know both our dog’s and our personalities and lifestyle to figure out what would work for us. I went from pretty hopeless to having joyful walks with Scout … and feeling confident we can tackle any issues that come up. Scout loves Carla and wishes he could join her pack … he’s stuck with us, but luckily we have Carla to advise us along the way. I highly recommend working with Carla.

We greatly appreciate Carla. She taught us, our dog and our granddaughter. Our rescued dog was a great dog except that after having him a few weeks, he became very territorial and growled at everyone except my husband and I. Carla helped us to understand our dog’s behavior and how to correct it, Because of the help from Carla we were able to give a home to a great dog and we all now enjoy him very much.

Although I wish I didn’t have to write this, I feel it’s important to inform people who love their dogs like family. I’ve also had friends and family members who said I needed to make people aware. I’m writing this as a warning to always think before you trust pet caregivers. Mistakes happen. People and pets can get hurt. But taking responsibility is key to running a good business. Integrity matters. Honesty matters. We let our beautiful 5-year-old Great Pyrenees rescue board with this business for a few years. There were always red flags, but sometimes you ignore these things when the business gets good reviews. Sadly, sometimes we trust a lot of people who don’t deserve it.
