For over 20 years, they've taken great care of our three Siamese, one Ocicat, and our Japanese Chin/Miniature Poodle.

I've been taking my dogs to Dr. Dennis since 2001. She always takes amazing care of them. In fact, I moved away from Bloomfield in 2003 and have been driving an hour round trip to bring my dogs to her for the past 20 years. There are a bunch of other vets closer to me but I trust Dr Dennis. My dogs have all trusted her, too. People are amazed when I tell them that my dog loves going to the vet. All three of my dogs have felt the same way - they clearly love her.

Dr. Dennis & her team are hands down the very best. They cared deeply about our pets and were very knowledgeable. For years my dog suffered with skin trouble and our other vet essentially gave up on her. We found Andrea & her team during a medical emergency where our vet was unavailable. She squeezed us in and changed our lives. Unfortunately our pups were older and at the end of their journey, but she made those last months amazing for them. She eased the skin discomforts with meds our other vet hadn’t even considered. She supported our family as we said goodbye to our beloved pets. I’m grateful for the time we had this team and only wish we had them sooner. Look no further - they’re amazing and worth every penny!

Unfortunately my experience with Bloomfield vet was extremely poor. The only reason I am giving it a 2 star is because the receptionist and vet tech were kind. We were relatively new to this practice, this was my second time going for my dog. Our visit consisted of two shots and checking a lump on my dogs thigh(which was most important) .. dr. Snyder felt the need to lecture me on how I am putting myself, due to being pregnant, and my toddler at risk by having my dog on the OPEN FARM RAWMIX food… that myself and toddler could get extremely sick if bacteria from the food somehow infected us.. and then felt it was appropriate to tell me that I’m also putting my toddler at risk by not having my dog on heart guard because if my dog gets heart worm and somehow my toddler touches something infe

Top notch vet and staff! Our vet moved to West Hartford and was terribly inconvenient to get to. I read all the glowing google reviews and decided to give them a try. Thank goodness I did! They came out to my car to help me get my 90 pound dog inside while I juggled my toddling children. They put us in a room with toys for my kids and one staff member even brought my kids animal crackers-so sweet. As for my dog, they treated him nicer than ANY other vet we have ever seen. They took him back and did all the necessary checking up while I waited with my kids. I was offered to stay with the dog, but it was easier not to. One tech even sang to my dog while he had his nails trimmed and came back saying the nicest things about our somewhat beast sized pooch haha. They took excellent care of him,
