We were taking a 1 week vacation when 4 days into the vacation our oldest dog Scout came down with a serious cough and needed urgent care. The owners did not hesitate in contacting us and took Scout to the nearest urgent care for treatment. The care and effort Sara and Graham provided for our Scout were above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. They made sure he was cared for by the urgent care facility, went back to get him after treatments that were done and then had him in their home for nearly 48 hours while we were flying back home to get him. They made him comfortable and cared for him like this was their own pet. We knew Scout was getting great care. They even stayed open later for us to get him and bring him home when we returned. I love bringing my girl to training at Blue Starr K9! Graham and Sarah are down to earth and attentive, making sure everyone benefits not only from the group training but from the one-on-one help Graham provides during the training. We started off with an evaluation and then moved to group classes. In a month my girl has learned so much and loves going to training as much as I do. She has transformed into a well behaved pup that we can take with us downtown to eat outside at restaurants or walk along the Riverwalk. She walks by our side without pulling and listens to us! I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience with Bleu Starr board and train program! From the moment we dropped off our 1 year old GSD, we knew she was in the best hands. Amanda & Sarah were so kind, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. Our dog came home happier and more confident. The transformation has been amazing! It’s clear she was not only trained with expertise, but also with so much love and care. We also appreciated the updates throughout her stay — photos and texts that made us feel connected even when we missed her. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Best dog trainers and boarders! We've left our dog here dozens of times throughout the years. She loves the people and the big yard to run around in. The owners are always flexible, prices are good, and they genuinely care about your dog. Can't recommend enough!

We absolutely love Bleu Starr K9! We board our dogs here any time we have to go somewhere that they can't go with us. It's a 45-minute to an hour long drive from us, one way. However, you couldn't show me a place that's only 5 minutes away that I would choose over them. My dogs are always well taken care of and most of the time could care less about coming home lol. Hands down the best facility and people!
