My boys went to Sam puppies in search for boundaries and came back puppies with manners, behavior and happy. Their time with Sam and her training me has changed our quality of life

How do I express my gratitude for the person who changed my life? I feel like that sounds dramatic, but it is the truth. I am a sucker for a fuzzy face who needs a home, so I brought a third dog home from the shelter. He was super sweet, but had absolute NO manners. That is something I may have been able to work with, but I also had a seven year old dog at home who is the definition of cranky and hard-headed. My older dog was a fear-biter who was convinced he was in charge of my house. He had previously attempted to bite several people, and actually did manage to bite a friend of mine. He was not going to welcome another dog into the house, so for the next week and a half, my house became pure and total chaos. Then came Sam. We recently sent our Great Dane, Ellie, to Sam with Blackhawk K-9 and had the best experience! Ellie really struggled with basic obedience, reactive behaviors on walks, and obeying. She also HATED crates prior to doing the board and train! The first time we met Sam was at drop off and it was an immediate sense of security. We knew in that moment that Sam was the perfect fit for Ellie! Ellie definitely pushes boundaries but Sam worked tirelessly day in and day out with her and we have definitely seen a huge improvement in Ellie! Ellie struggled adjusting back at home and we reached out to Sam and she was able to come back to our house and help us almost immediately! We cannot recommend Blackhawk K-9 enough! Words cannot express my gratitude for Blackhawk K-9 and more specifically the owner Samantha. She helped me when no one else would. I rescued two large breed dogs that had no socialization or any exposure to anything. These two dogs came with a lot of problems. For people other than my family, they were very scary. She did not let this intimidate her. She took both of them for behavior modification boards. Sam used her expertise in training and dealing with very difficult cases (like my dogs) to completely change their lives and ours. My dogs did not do well in public, were literally afraid of their own shadows, and could not be around anyone or thing other than the my family. Now, I can take them into public , around strangers, and not have to worry. The best part is they came home with t

We took our dog (gsd puppy) to Blackhawk for board and train. Sam immediately clocked all of the things that we had been struggling with. We loved getting to be involved in the training as Sam had us do multiple sessions before we took our dog home. She came home with her personality intact and new learned behaviors. It was some of the best money we have ever spent. Additionally, we have taken our dog back for boarding and it was fuss free and great for the pup. So happy we went with Sam and Blackhawk. Whenever we are struggling, Sam coaches us and gives us so much relief. Our life and relationship with the dog is so much better because of Sam's help.
