My dog and I highly recommend this place and it’s very reasonably priced. I got my 1.5 yr old havanese/English toy spaniel mix, Stewie, groomed by Ricardo and my whole family is so ecstatic with the finished product! He was very patient with my pup, knowing he can be a little wiggly and anxious he booked more time for him and even finished super fast. He shaved the feet clean at my request, and even got the funky fur around his muzzle clean, nice and short. I’m so happy to have found a groomer I trust and stew seems much happier with his new hair cut :)

Ricardo is a wonderful groomer! We’ve been going to him for over a year and he has always done a fantastic job with our Westie, Otto! Ricardo has a gentle demeanor, is super easy to communicate with via text message, and grooms Otto in less than 1.5 hours so it’s a fast turnaround. If you have a specific look you want for your dog, just show Ricardo some reference photos and he will make the magic happen. Highly recommend Best Buddies Dog Grooming! Best Buddies Dog Grooming Bay Area with Ricardo is an excellent resource for my goldendoodle. Ricardo has always been conscious of my dogs behavior and makes decisions based on respect and developing a long term relationship with him. The grooming is always excellent. But, the biggest compliment I can give comes via my dog's dermatologist. My puppy had an ear infection that required a specialist, and the first time the Dr. met my dog and examined his ears, she told me to ask the groomer(Ricardo) if he could remove all the hair in and around the ears to help with the infection. Ricardo did this and at the next appointment the dermatologist was shocked at how much Ricardo was able to take care of, especially around my pups sensitive ears. My Corgi's first visit to a groomer. Ricardo is fantastic. He did great with her, she came home beautifully trimmed and bathed. I highly recommend him.
