Bernal Beast

I do like having a neighbourhood pet store but not when their practices are misleading . I bought a rain jacket for my dog and since I didn't have her with me I was not sure about the size. The sales person promised me that I could return within 15 days no problem and get a refund or exchange it , if it didn't work for my dog. And the jacket was not the right size and I went to return it within 3 days and was told that they do not do full refund /cash back and only store credit . So I guess I will have to go back in and use store credit to buy over priced items just to use the credits . I will not recommend this store if you are not sure of the product you are buying unless you are ok with store credit and paying for over priced items .

Your pet's best friend. This store is so delightful - well stocked with quality products - food, toys, all things pet - plus it's bright, cheery, and clean. Brian was so kind to my mom - who is getting on in years and has vision problems - and walked her through finding just the right food for her finicky emotional support cat. Bernal Beast always has great window decor and just feels like a friend in the neighborhood. Classes to keep pets happy and healthy, too!! Having local small businesses there for you with what you need knits community together. Recommend!

Bernal Beast is a fantastic little store with great owners and staff and good products! I am so happy to support this local neighborhood store!

Wonderful store with high quality products for very reasonable prices. They even provide free treats both outside in the dispenser and inside at the counter! They have been around for almost 30 years, I’m definitely shopping here for my dog from now on.
