Bedlam Kennel

I drove an hour and I had an appt.....and was still kept waiting 45 minutes. They knew I had to leave to pick up a friend at the airport. So, I only got to see 1 of the 3 dogs I had asked about adopting. The entire place had a sense of chaos. You meet your pup in the foyer or the office - both cramped spaces. What struck me most was how disorganized the owner (?) was and the lack of respect and boundaries she showed her staff. Both were supposed to be leaving - and they kept reminding her that they had evening plans - but she continued to give them tasks. "Just do this thing and then that before you go". Then she would add to what she wanted done. One staff eventually just left, w/o saying a word to anyone. I understand that there were adoptions happening and I understand they wer

If I could rate this place negative stars, I certainly won't be opposed to doing so. Not the cleanest looking kennel. They ask you to bring your dog to.do in person meet and greet with a potential rescue. What yiy don't know is many of the rescues have never ben exposed to other dogs. No fenced in areas for meet and greets like the Animal Orphanage 8n Voorhees does.

Went To This Kennel For The First Time Today. I Was Very Impressed With The Love, Care, And Knowledge That Angie Had For The 3 Dogs She Showed Us. Happy To Say We More Than Likely Got The Right Dog :) Highly Recommend

I recently visited this shelter in response to a dog advertised on petfinder. I have rescued and had many dogs over decades and have never seen such a DIRTY, INHUMANE shelter. This is just wrong and the poor dog I responded to was not as photoed but… emaciated, scared and had feces hanging from her hair. I asked to see where the “rescues” were housed and was denied. These are not people concerned with animal welfare.
