We could not have had a more positive experience with our trainer Jess & the rest of the team at Bark Institute. While our 1 year old golden, Bennie, was there for his board and train stay, they could not have been more accommodating between sending daily photos & updates while also answering all questions we had at any time of the day. When we initially brought Bennie, he was extremely shy, fearful, anxious, and could not regulate his emotions. By the end of his time with Jess, he is a completely different dog. Bennie is now happy, sociable, and confident! We could not recommend and thank Jess & the bark institute enough.

We have had five GSDs in our life, with the last two coming from Vogelhaus. Both Vogelhaus dogs were 2-3yrs old when received from their Adult Dog Program (after six weeks of training). Our first three GSDs were not from Vogelhaus and all were raised from pups. If we are fortunate enough to live beyond our current GSD (Otis), there is no doubt in my mind that we would once again ask Vogelhaus to find us another GSD from their Adult Dog program. Both of our GSDs from Vogelhaus have been exceptional- and instant - additions to our family. Their training was bespoke to the world/lifestyle our GSDs live in. Where to start???? This place is amazing and the team and owner are like family. We rescued a 6 year old Golden Doodle who was used for breeding. Bella was scared of everything and we didn't know how to help her adjust. Jamie, the owner, and her team worked with Bella for 2 weeks and she has grown into the most loving, beautiful dog...I can't imagine not having her! If not for the care and expertise of this team I don't know if we would have been able to keep her! We Have to board our dog for a week over the summer. Met with the Owner and several of the trainers. Had to do a review of our dogs vaccinations and an evaluation visit. Which turned into a fabulous 2 week board & train during this last snow storm. Got an instant positive vibe from all. The facility is clean, organized and well lit. The kennels are clean and roomy. Our dog felt right at home! The Trainers are very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and did a great job with our dog. Looking forward to more training sessions!
