Baystate provides outstanding service! The new location in Swansea, MA is top notch. Everyone we met with were welcoming, friendly, knowledgable, and positive. Dr Block is like no other veterinarian we have met. It is very obvious how much he loves animals. He initially took a few minutes (on the floor) to get to know our dog. He petted her and talked to her to make her feel comfortable. I swear he is a dog whisperer, as she was very relaxed in his presence. We love that after hearing everything we had to say, and getting his questions answered, Dr Block, had a multi-step plan, giving us options (and no pressure) how to proceed in figuring out what is going on with our dog. The more he talked, the more he put us at ease. We left Baystate elated at the treatment we got. We feel very blessed

These people are absolutely wonderful. I had a middle-of-the-night emergency with one of my cats this week and brought him here, and I am so glad I did. They took him in to be checked out right away, and I ended up having to keep him there for a few days. It was unsettling at first, but every single staff member I interacted with (and there were many over the course of a few days..) was truly amazing. Patient, caring, and incredibly helpful. The level of care put me at ease knowing that my fur baby was in great hands. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I initially had a consultation with Dr. Voudren after my primary veterinarian referred my cat to a specialty hospital due to recurrent vomiting with blood. I had all of my cat’s medical records sent more than a week in advance. After nearly a year of symptoms, testing, and treatment attempts—including an ultrasound—my regular veterinarian recommended an endoscopy as the next step and provided referrals to Baystate and Tufts. I chose Baystate. During the initial consultation, Dr. Voudren and the technician were pleasant and professional. I thoroughly reviewed my cat’s history, including a recent Kenalog (steroid) injection given by my regular veterinarian. When I mentioned this injection, Dr. Voudren stated she had never heard of the medication and did not use it. This was concerning, but I

We had to bring our 6 year old Great Dane in due to pneumonia . They took us right in and brought her into the back for immediate oxygen once the Dr saw her condition. Cindy stayed for 2 nights at the facility , every day the Dr would contact us and update how she was . Every morning I would get a photo and update via email. At any time I could call and get an update from a nurse . Every time I did I was greeted with kindness and understanding . Never did anyone sound like they were annoyed with me calling . She is home now and resting and doing well thanks to the great team here .

This place is absolutely amazing!!!! They took very good care of my puppy. He was very sick and he is well now I think you guys from the bottom of my heart for saving my dog. My family is extremely grateful. I want to do a special shout out to Brittany bronco♥️ one of the receptionist upfront. She is very respectful, pleasant and she cares a lot!!! I do not know what Bay State would do without her you guys are very lucky to have her!!! The ER technician that makes frequent visits to everybody in the lobby whether they’re coming in for care or being sent home is also just as great all the doctors I thank you so much!!!!
