Bay County Animal Control

"Buck" has brought us so much joy. The staff was friendly and helpful with matching us to the right cat. They sent us home with a cat that had up to date shots, was chipped (and provided us with all the paperwork), and even sent us home with treats and toys. This was such a wonderful experience for us and we have been recommending for everyone we know to take a visit here. And to top it all off, they run adoption specials regularly. We took him home with all of this for only $10.

We adopted Buck this weekend, now named Butters. he's so happy and so comfortable here at his forever home. he is so full of love and sweetness, he's had a blast at exploring his new home and finding all the comfy and warm spots to nap. He absolutely loves cuddling while we watch movies or play games. We're so thankful for the chance to add him to our family, we love him so so much. Thank you for helping us meet him and taking such good care of him.

We've rescued two dogs from Bay Animal Control, and we love them so much. The facility workers are always kind, and I haven't seen any issues with cleanliness or anything else. This is Nola and Creole.

Found our new addition to the family here. Kodi, he's a jacktzu that was a owner surrender at 10ms old. So glad we found him! The people who work here are so nice and truly care about the animals they work with. Kodi and his brother Jack are living the best life! Walks on the beach every day. Never left alone for even a minute, they go where we go. Thank you BCAC for what you do!

They are a KILL SHELTER!!! Please DO NOT trust this place. We brought in our 2 year old cat on Nov 20th and on Nov 21st I called to check up on her and they told me she was euthanized do to aggressive behavior. She was NEVER an aggressive cat, she was the total opposite. When we asked why they didn't give her a chance to adapt to her being there in a new environment, they didn't have an answer. We wanted her to be rehome not killed. We went in person and do to their explanation I can tell they do this often. STAY AWAY from this place, they DONT CARE about the well being of the animals.
