We would like to say thank you to everyone for Radagast our Bengal. He came from extreme unsanitary conditions from a family member in September. Filled with bad teeth, claws, a heart murmur, labored breathing and eventually he stopped eating. Today he crossed the rainbow bridge with the support and help of Barrington, they were kind and understanding of all the tears rolling in. Though his time with my fiance and I was short lived, he still got to live a good 2 months with no stress inducing environments. Rude and authoritative staff. Extremely overpriced!!! They demand you provide endless treatments on pet in pain. In our case, they wouldn't even euthanize our 9 year old cat after spending over $3,000 on her at this place. They demanded we do more testing. Trust the negative comments posted here because they are truthful. We also found it strange that they took our cat out of the patient room we were in to the back instead of doing the exam in front of us. A good clinic will not hide what they are doing from the owner. Lastly, I've been reading some of the reviews on here and people might have enough grounds for a lawsuit in regards to the clinics responses that divulge confidential information protected by law. We have been going to Barrington for years, I appreciate how it’s a close drive, huge plus for my anxious prone dog. They are always patient and compassionate.

We’ve had a wild journey with my cat Bentley over the past few months, and I’m incredibly grateful to the team at Barrington Oaks for being there every step of the way. Dr. Dennis, along with vet techs Anna and Taylor, were kind, compassionate, and truly invested in helping us try everything to heal Bentley’s leg that was broken early this year. Although we ultimately had to make the decision to amputate, their support never wavered. We're a little over a month out from the procedure and Bentley is thriving as a happy little tripod kitty, and we owe so much of that to the wonderful care he received. Update: After posting my initial review, we spoke directly with the surgeon and the practice manager and got much better insight into the decisions made during our dog’s procedure. With the surgeon’s explanation, it became clear the surgical choices were appropriate and in our dog’s best interest. Our main frustration stemmed from the lack of communication beforehand about the extent and approach of the surgery. In the consultation, we were told it would be a simple tooth pull, but it required a more complex procedure. Because that was never explained in advance, it felt overly aggressive and left us shocked at the time of pickup. The cost also ended up on the higher end of the estimate and more than we expected, though the bigger issue was the communication gap. That said, the follow-u
