Best place ever! Adding to my review… this week I put my precious Angel in to board because we moved to a new place… in the process I was hospitalized… then wanted to make sure Angel had a “safe” place in new home… so the one night stay turned into 4… what gave me peace of mind was knowing she was at a place she loves and was very well cared for… all I can say … there is not a better place. Staff, groomers and owner are all in it for the love of animals. Above and beyond customer service… and more importantly… They are Angel approved

This place is a step above the rest. Best place for daycare and boarding. The cleanliness is amazing. They clean every surface, I've even seen them scrubbing the walls. They truly value the safety of the dogs in their care.

Coming from the Chicago area, I wasn’t sure what to expect for our Golden Retriever. Barkside Lodge exceeded expectations. He’s always happy to arrive and doesn’t rush out the door when it’s time to leave. His favorite day is Swimming Day of course! But he loves playing with friends on the other days too. When he stayed there during our vacation, he didn’t even get his usual stressed out upset tummy. Thrilled that he was so well cared for while we were away!!

First time boarding our dog Cooper. He’s older and I was very nervous because we had no boarded him in over a year. Jamie and staff put me at ease and took great care of Cooper when I had to leave town on short notice for a family emergency. They worked with me on a couple special requests and I know Cooper received love because when I picked him up, he smelt like the perfume of someone hugging on him. Thank you Barkside staff for caring for him!
