Barks & Rec Boarding

This is absolutely the BEST boarding facility!!! We have been taken our pets to Barks & Rec for over 9 years. There is no other place I would entrust with their care. The owners are simply amazing, as well as each member of staff. It truly is like an extended family at Barks & Rec! They LOVE each and every dog like their own. My babies love being there and I love not having to worry about them. Levi and Lola are always SO excited to get there and run in the door!! Bonus…they take and post THE best pictures.

Barks and Rec are real pet ownership care in Mooresville. I trust them w my fur child because they really care and make all my Labrador needs. Our dog is a family member of our household and I know when I pick up my kid she has had a wonderful experience. It’s unheard of a private ownership of pet care in this day of Mooresville. We have been taking our Lab,Murphy, here since he was a pup. We use both the boarding and the doggie day care. Murphy loves it there. As soon as he realizes where we are he is so excited. The staff are so good w him and showering him w love. They take great care of him. You can definitely tell if a dog enjoys going or not and our Murphy can’t get enough of going to Barks and Rec. Wouldn’t take him anywhere else!

My dog, Boone, has been coming here regularly. They post pictures on social media regularly and the dogs are very friendly. My dog always comes home very tired after a long day of play. They are able to do accommodations for breakfast and dinner and let them have their own toys. Definitely would recommend.

My dog Mochi has been boarding here on and off since 2019. He is a very “to himself” kind of dog and he LOVES going here and they love him. He is 11 now and having hip problems and they pay so much attention to him and give him patience and understanding as if it was their own dog. Love this place. Would give it 10 stars if I could.
