Bark Avenue

Amazing with my puppy Henry! He usually barks or whines in a kennel. I could tell when I came to pick him up that the people who run this loved on him so much that he felt fully comfortable in his little enclosure; he wasn’t making a peep! They did amazing at his outline cut and he smells so great. As a puppy, he can only have hypoallergenic scents and sometimes that can make him just smell like I bathed him at home. Not at bark Avenue though! Really top-notch dog shampoos even for puppies. I was charged by a place in Nashville 70 dollars when he was less than 25 pounds. He’s now nearing 40 and they charged 95 for full service here at bark Avenue! We’ve been taking our two dogs to Bark Avenue for a year now and we couldn’t be happier. They do a great job, have great communication and super clean shop. Our 75 pound Anatolian shepherd recently had hip surgery and they were so gentle and careful the first time he got groomed. He’s also been sprayed by a skunk multiple times and they miraculously get him smelling better every time!

Horrible owner!! The groomer cut both of my dogs ears and caused a secondary skin infection. The owner promised to pay the vet bills but didn’t agree with my vets medication choice that she prescribed to my pet and declined to no longer pay even after I provided pictures and my vets notes. Apparently the owner thinks she is a doctor!!! She is a newer owner to this shop and is riding on the reviews of the previous owner. BEWARE! I’d never take my dog back there again. It took my dog two weeks and multiple vet visits to heal! She’s needs to figure out how to operate her system because she claims I used a “fake name” for my grooming visits. Makes sense why I would do that.

Bark Avenue does our two dogs….a doodle and a retriever. They are simply wonderful with them, and cater to whatever cuts we want for them. They always greet us with a smile, and seem to understand that each dog is different in temperament. Can’t say enough great things about Bark Avenue!

What a wonderful place, the staff is incredibly kind and informational. I would 100% recommend. I don’t think my dogs ever been so soft. He’s seven year-old husky. He’s never been to a groomer before I took him to blow his coat out and he looks fantastic. He did so well.
