Banfield Pet Hospital

This is one of the most heartbreaking and disappointing experiences I’ve ever had with a veterinary clinic. I absolutely cannot recommend Banfield Pet Hospital inside PetSmart (Virginia Beach Blvd location). I recently had to make the incredibly difficult decision to euthanize my dog, Daisy. During the appointment, I clearly and repeatedly requested two ceramic paw prints — one for myself and one for my daughter. I confirmed this several times before and immediately after the procedure. Immediately following the euthanasia, one of the staff members scoffed and rolled her eyes at me when she had to correct my invoice because it did not reflect the proper exam fee total. My cat, Mister, had an issue and they were able to get him in the next day! The front desk people were wonderful and extremely kind. They definitely helped calm my anxiety. Dr. Carpenter came out and gave me the rundown and all was well! Mister isn’t the biggest fan of going to the vet, but I felt that the staff here took care of him as if he was one of their own pets. HIGHLY recommend them!

We are from Portsmouth and make the extra drive to this location because the staff is so professional! The absolutely take care of my wild and crazy husky boy & he likes going here. This location has it done right, and it is appreciated!!!

This location is close to my home and there are a few special people who work there that take amazing care of my fur babies. Melanie and Makayla are so sweet, these ladies make coming there an enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

Banfield Pembroke loved on three of my dogs in succession. They were very pleasant to work with over 15+ years. As a result of this my present dog Gabriel is still a Banfield dog in Spanish Fort, Alabama. Thank you Pembroke.
