Where do I even begin. Heartbroken mostly for my pups care and even more so that I know are in a similar boat as us. I have already made a private review which was responded to months later with apology and promise of financial compensation. What happened? Nothing. Let me give you the spark notes of our experience with the tualitin banfield. - forgot to feed our puppy during drop off appointments - forgot to mention that some of the appointments were drop off only, leaving my wife and I with a totally destroyed day - failed to test for concerns we had with multiple ailments, UTI, vulvaplasty and most recently an injured paw. -One of which cost us about $6k and counting. - they “denied and canceled“ our appointment after making it over the phone, requiring us to attend another appointment

My dog has been unwell she didn’t eat dinner or breakfast, has had diarrhea, and I noticed some red in her stool. I brought in a fecal sample so it could be tested for parasites or blood, but I was turned away and told that I needed to bring my dog in for an appointment instead. I’m confused as to why the stool sample couldn’t have been tested as an initial step, especially since she may be sick and the tests could provide quick insight. It seems like testing the stool first could help determine whether an exam or additional diagnostics are necessary, rather than delaying care. Very disappointed with the service.

Expensive. Charges 3x the amount of local vets all to get you to sign up for a wellness plan for discounts, then the services you need are either not covered, or the "discounted" rate is still double or triple the cost of others in the area. Paid $60 "discounted" for medicine our new vet charges $10 for. Also, if your pet dies, good luck being released from that wellness plan contract! I will never again visit a Banfield, nor will I recommend anyone else to.

We have been with Banfield for approximately 9 years now. When our dog was/is healthy it’s been fine. The troubles arose when we most needed a competent vet. Our dog suffers from severe anxiety and reactivity. We managed it when it with training and avoidance when it was just my wife and I, but when my wife got pregnant, we requested anxiety medication because we knew we weren’t going to have the time or energy to devote to training and exercise. We were denied, saying “you need to just work on behavioral training.” When the baby was born, we were denied again, for the same reason. We should have switched vets at that time, but we were locked into their optimum wellness plan and decided to stick with it. (EDIT: This was with a Banfield in the Portland, OR area) Ultimately, we were corre
