Banfield Pet Hospital

Most of the time, this has been a good pet hospital. Once in a while, the receptionists could be pretty rude and careless with bad attitude. They would let you keep waiting until you missed your assigned appointment while answering the phone. The grooming service in the same facility has been the same situation. It's really great if you know who to ask for. Otherwise, your pet might be returned with some unfinished jobs. You can only get that if you are careful and knowing what's supposed to be included. My dog had been suffering from a terrible flea infection, but with the proper medication and good guidance, everything cleared up nicely. The doctor was generous with her time, and the vet’s assistant was knowledgeable and kind. Having the Banfield Well Pet insurance plan, the visit was free. I only paid for a 6 month supply of medication, which was discounted. All together, a very successful visit.

We have been going here for a few years. My dog is well accustomed to the grooming routine of this place and everybody there loves her. She is a ball of fur and so we go somewhat regularly. Sometimes as much as once a week during shedding season. Staff is awesome. Very accommodating. Always a good experience!

We took our dog in for itching. He was given a shot. Several days later he is still itching. I tried to call Banfield, but no one answered the phone. I left a message and even sent an email. Still have not heard back from them.

We switched from San Leandro Banfield to Dublin. We could never get our animals in. We had the wellness plan yet they would refer us to the Animal Hospital if we needed care. They were always closing early or for the day. Both Dublin locations are great. Staff and vets are great. You can get in same day or next day
