I am quiet amaze by the large selection of this pet shop. It' really cool. I bought a new arowana with me and had the paper and transaction done smoothly. I will surely be back here again.

A great local business selling all your pet supply needs including feed and bedding for chickens, horses etc which is very hard to find in the inner East Bay. The owners are lovely people, and everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. They have a parking lot between the two different portions of the store--one side is for more typical pet supplies and the other side is for livestock type supplies. Their prices are quite reasonable, and I love that they have many different options for chicken feed (organic, pellets/crumbles, soy free, corn free, etc) from local producers (Modesto Milling). They also sell chicken and duck hatchlings in the spring into summer if you're looking to raise your own chickens.

Mike’s is a independently owned, one of kind pet store that you hardly ever find in the US anymore. It offers a comprehensive range of products for your pets as well as selling fish, reptiles, turtles, rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks, chickens, and birds. You could spend an hour exploring the store. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

I went here looking for a stock tank to hold a large volume of ice and was presently surprised to find they had one and many other items most small pet stores don't have.
