Banfield Pet Hospital

Fine for shots and vaccines but useless otherwise. Finally brought our 11 year old dog to a REAL vet and they diagnosed tons of issues that banfield never found or discussed with us. Had we known we could have treated him and avoided future problems, which now it’s too late for. Do yourself and your pets a favor and don’t trust your animals lives with this pathetic excuse for a vet

Absolutely awful and near criminal behavior by the entire staff. Diagnosed my new pup with heartworm and after an initial $350.00 payment they had a plan for "treatment" that would have cost another $500.00 +. I took the pooch to a nearby animal hospital where he has gotten a clean bill of health , no heartworm , no issues. When told , the Banfield staff just reminded me that we had other visits to make that were included in the program I signed up for. After being clear to them that my dog would never visit their facility again, they continue to call and send text and email reminders for visits. This survey is further proof of their disconnection with their pet patients. They requested this review.

This staff at Banfield was super friendly, courteous and very helpful. The Dr called to explain our pet diagnosis and she was very self explanatory and very friendly. We are definitely bringing our dog back for future visits.

All I can say is that you guys suck! I went in with my cat and said everything was fine 2 days later I took my cat to a hospital and they said she had a brain tumor and we had to put her down! So horrible experience…

I cannot thank Dr. Burke at the Rockaway, NJ Banfield pet hospital enough for everything she did for us. We lost our beloved Herve this week after a battle with lymphoma. Unfortunately it wasn’t until nearly the end of Herve’s battle that I found Dr. Burke. A dear friend of mine recommended Dr. Burke after hearing that I was desperately trying to reach Herve’s vet at another Banfield location. Following this recommendation, I immediately called the Rockaway, NJ location. I was absolutely astonished that my call was answered right away. I told the staff member there that Herve was in increasing distress from his lymphoma symptoms and they immediately connected with Dr. Burke, even though Herve had not been to the Rockaway location before.
