Banfield Pet Hospital

I have been taking my senior kitty to this Banfield location for years, and I am so happy with my experience! All of the vets (especially Drs. Steiger, Bramow, and Cunningham) have been so kind and considerate in answering questions about my kitty’s many health issues and what diagnostic test results meant. And Vet Tech Chloe is always so kind to my baby girl! It means the world to me that the staff here treat my fur baby with such care. I’ve been an optimum wellness plan member for years and appreciate the value of the plan, and how much it covers. Thank you, Banfield of Norman!

We’re from San Diego and were visiting family here in Oklahoma when we had to go to Banfield Pet Hospital in Norman on February 5th 2026–Address: 660 Ed Noble Pkwy Norman, OK 73072 United States to get Xanax (alprazolam) for my dog Stori’s flight home because of how severe her anxiety was on the way there. Our primary vet told me to see a local vet and specifically ask for this medication due to not being able to help across state lines. I brought all of Stori’s records and explained the situation thoroughly at the appointment. We saw Dr. Elizabeth K Steiger. She seemed understanding, but still pushed trazodone and gabapentin, which is what we used on the flight there and it did nothing. I explained again why my vet told me to ask for Xanax (alprazolam) and how severe the situation was,

This is the best Banfield I’ve been to across several states. They know Pine cone by name and they all come out to say hi to him and make him feel comfortable being there. They always meet my needs with my appointments and they take great care of both of us. Our family has taken all of our pets to Banfield for the past 20 years and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

I had a wonderful experience at Banfield pet hospital ! The entire staff was kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly compassionate. Casey took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure my pet was comfortable and well cared for. You can really tell she loves what she does. From the moment we walked in, I felt confident my pet was in great hands. The facility was clean, organized, and welcoming. Whether it’s a routine checkup or something more serious, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pet’s health. Highly recommend this place to any pet owner looking for professional and caring veterinary services!

My Beagle was having what turned oit to be heart problems and Banfield was able to get him in fast that same day within an hour. The employees were so helpful and super nice and explained everything so well. The Vet initiated medication that I purchased. The meds worked well and took him back about 2 weeks later for recheck and I signed up for their "Senior Care" program. The Vets and all the personnel at Banfield were and always are great and very cheerful even when I ask for help as I have problems walking. Also Banfield was and has always been VERY CLEAN. Plus there are no animal odors either. The cleanest Veterinary place I have ever been and so very glad. As long as all these great conditions last including them very much helping my Beagle I will keep going to the Norman, OK st
