This is the place for an educated pet owner. The medical staff here collaborates with pet owners to come up with treatment plans that not only has the best interest of the pet in mind but considered the quality of life and finances of the owner. Highly recommend banfield for routine care and minor sickness and injuries. No up selling and no BS unnecessary testing/procedures that you get from private vets to finance there boats and exotic cars.

Really impressed with this Banfield. Quick to answer the phone, quick to call back, we’re really helpful in scheduling surgery and then helping me manage the cost, even called in the RX to a local pharmacy which saved me $50. Really excellent service! It’s a bit far but I think I prefer it to the closer Pasadena location now.

I have brought my dog Juno to BANFIELD since I rescued her 8 years ago (she’s now 9). Out of all the locations we’ve gone to, the one at 745 W Huntington Dr in Monrovia is our favorite. The staff are wonderful with my anxious girl and always remember her and her long medical history. We are moving to WA next week and are sad to leave the care we’ve received from this location. We’ve interacted with Ethan and Kristin the most and they have been so personable and wonderful to work with. While we have truly missed Dr. Ho and Dr. Martinoff since they left, Dr. Duong and Dr. McCleanhave both been extremely helpful and informative in Juno’s care. Took our dog to have his back leg checked and have his routine check-up wasn't good news but they were very helpful making our dog comfortable before surgery.

Extremely unorganized. My dog has never had issues at Banfield except at the petsmart locations. If you have OWP with them or not, steer clear! Just go to a stand alone.
