Banfield Pet Hospital

We usually visit Banfield in Oviedo, but happened to be out of town and went to the Lake Mary location. Our dog had severe diarrhea for a few days. We were very pleased with the service that we had at this office. Sophia was great! We left there with three prescriptions and within a day Callie felt much better. Just wanted to let you guys know that we appreciate the care that we received with a short notice For our appointment. Thank you so much.

The techs were very friendly. The vet took all the time we needed for our old dog who had several issues. We never felt rushed and the staff was both professional and sympathetic. All together a positive experience.

This is not the place if you want to see the vet. I scheduled appointments recieved text to confirm appointment then the day before they call and tell you its drop off service only. Plus they know your coming and you need to pick up prescription only to tell you when you get there you will have to come back in a few days to get because they just ordered it. Its not easy when you live 25 miles away. I personally are done with them.

Don’t take your pets here. I would give zero stars if I could. They will pressure you into doing stupid tests that will cost thousands of dollars, make your pets even more sick, and on the way out, they’ll pressure you into getting their pet insurance that they don’t tell you is a 1 year commitment that cannot be cancelled if your pet dies AND the guy trying to sell it to you will give you his business card in your pet’s meds bag to try to sell you his art. Oh don’t forget they won’t give you discharge papers and when you call and ask to at least have them send it to you via email they still won’t. What a horrible, predatory place. I've been going to Banfield now for 8 yrs, 5 at this location. The staff here are great. I typically drop my dog off for her exams and when she's ready to be picked up the Vet will call & explain everything & answer any of my questions. Love this location.
