I really hope someone sees this message. This Banfield in Greenbelt has the most unprofessional service I've ever seen. I've tried to get my dog checked for the last four months, and they always cancel the appointment. It's not fair; you pay for a service and you expect to be seen if you make an appointment. I made an appointment through the app to take my dog in because he has an upset stomach, and they canceled it 10 minutes before... I'm going to take my dog off this insurance because of you. Besides being expensive, you don't offer good service, and above all, you don't seem to like working, especially at this Greenbelt location. And you always try to sell me products I don't need. I hope a manager sees this, and if they really care about animal welfare, they'll act differently.
Booked a same day in room appointment for my cat due to an emergency at this location because it is closest to me and I was reminded almost instantly why I usually go out of way to a much further location. They offer in room appointments but have none of the rooms available to facilitate that. Seems like a simple fix to remove that option from the website. I have a very anxious cat and he’s much calmer with me in the room which is why I chose that option and they never even addressed it. Just took him to the back after we waited almost 30 minutes in the waiting area where so much dog pee just sits on the floor you can barely breathe. They had wet floor signs over multiple pee puddles that were nearly dry and it was only morning? Everyone was just sitting around breathing it in and God onl
Went to my closest Banfield near me. When I went in to get a wellness plan, the lady asked for $400 upfront for “blood testing” and if the “blood test” came out bad, he wouldn't be allowed to get the wellness plan. I was OK with paying this amount and booked an appointment. The receptionist was rolling her eyes the whole time and being short and dismissive. I told her the reason we were there (to renew his tick and fleas treatment) and she stared, rolled her eyes again and said, “We can't make an appointment, you can only make an appointment for vaccinations” which is not true, apparently. I said, “OK” as she ignored me and went back to her computer, leaving standing there confused. At this point, I'm done and don't even want to buy the wellness plan. Thankfully, my sister (the one who rec
I booked an appointment for my fur baby Maxx to have his ear looked at because he has been in great discomfort with little relief. I saw a ad for services online and booked right away. I chose the Greenbelt location since it was closest to my home and went in early to the appointment to fill out first time paperwork. When I arrived not only did they not have any record of my appointment but they also do not do in-room visits as the website promotes. Desperate to get relief for my ailing pup I agreed to allow them to see him last minute. Unknown to me the kennel that gave him his last rabies shots had only gave him a 1 year given to him on August 4, 2024. I was under the impression it was a 3 year vaccine but the doctor assured me it was fine and that they would simply give him an updated s
I ’m very disappointed with the service at the Banfield Greenbelt location. I had an appointment on December 5 to get my dog checked for an eye infection. Instead of examining him, the front desk staff spoke with the doctor and then sent us away with emergency room information, without even looking at my dog. Today, I took my dog to another Banfield location for a scheduled appointment. They actually checked him, confirmed he had an infection, and gave us medication. They also informed me that my dog did NOT have an updated rabies vaccine, even though I believed Greenbelt had done it last month. This was extremely concerning and feels like a serious oversight. Based on this experience, I do not recommend the Greenbelt Banfield location. The difference in care between the two clinics was
