This past Sunday I lost my best friend, Milo. Milo was a rescue, my sweet old man. When I first brought him home, I could tell our journey would be challenging but beautiful. He was always so loving and would always come looking for me the second I got home. The past year I noticed his change in behavior. All he wanted to do was sleep. My sweet old man was living in pain but held on to life.. for me. Benfield Pet Hospital, well the staff there, were amazing. They saw me distraught and comforted me. At no point did they rush me. From the second I called to see if I could bring Milo there, to the second I walked out their doors. They made the hardest day for me, just a tad bit easier. They ensured me that we were in good hands and I thank them for it.

I brought my long-haired cat in for care, paying $329 for essentially nothing. They didn't shave her to find/show her wound, didn't perform the tests I requested, and didn't administer vaccines. Instead, they told me her condition was so dire that I should go to an emergency hospital they recommended for $4k-$5k if not to "humanely" put her down. Devastated and sick with anxiety, I hung up in tears, thinking I was going to lose my pet. The next day, a second vet provided the care she actually needed. He shaved her, found and cleaned her bite wound, gave her antibiotics, vaccines, and ran the tests—all for a fraction of the cost. She is now perfectly happy, healthy, and acting normal. What a happy in super fantastic staff. I really give these veterinarians these doctors five stars. Total compassion. They really love animals and so do I. If you want a warm happy veterinarian always greeted with respect. And concern for your animal. Don't hesitate. Easy to park easily located. Fantastic staff. This is from an animal lover for over 60 years. That would be me!

I could write an essay about the issues I encountered with this location and the monies wasted but I’ll summarize it, there’s negligence and/or incompetence when it comes to some of the staff members here. Including the site manager. When I reached out to Banfield via the customer service phone number they informed me that I needed to speak with the site manager. I left several request for the site manager to call me back, they never did. At my final appointment with this location, I asked again for a message to be left. The gentleman working the front desk offered me an opportunity to speak with the “lead tech”.
