Banfield Pet Hospital

Dropped off 3 dogs at 8 am one for dental cleaning and 2 for vaccine shots. My dogs have been caged for 9 hours because they kept accepting other walk in dogs. It is a sub humane practice. The vet was nice and apologetic but again such mismanagement is not acceptable!

This is honestly the worst banfield I have ever taken my dogs to. The only thing good about it that the staff is nice to work with. Their organization is terrible and they take way too long to complete visits that should only take an 1 hour. They can't read my pets records apparently, because I have had multiple visits where they did not complete services that are due soon. I highly recommend you go to a different banfield.

Well, I have to change my review. Yesterday 04-25-23 Johnny had his comprehensive exam scheduled with Dr. Krumbs at Banfield in Allen TX. I dropped Johnny off at about 1030am. My first call to check on him was at 1251. The phone went straight to a message stating that the office was closed and thatvi should leave a message. Thinking that, while extremely unusual and having never happened in all the years I have been coming to Banfield (since 2008), maybe it's because it's still lunch time, I left a message. At 150pm I tried again and received the same message. I became a bit panicked and called petsmart directly to ask if it was a phone issue. I was told by the manager o spoke with that they were looking at the Banfield employees and that they were on the phones. I asked I she could please

This was a horrible experience and the last time I went to the location. My dog was acting and breathing funny. They said as long as I was there before they close they said the would take her. They refused. My dog ending up passing away at my house.

Update: DR called and apologized about the miscommunication. I realize she sees a lot of dogs everyday. I have been a member off and on with Banfield over the years and have had no problems, until COVID. It is not what it was pre-covid. I understand why, it's a third party vendor instead of direct vet care. There's a middle man taking a cut off the plate and I bet they are having a hard time keeping veterinarians. My dog came in on February 14th for her routine exam they realized she had high cholesterol put her on a special diet. They tell me we need to come back in 2 weeks and recheck her blood work to see where her cholesterol is to see if the diet is helping. I bring her in for a drop off visit and they do not check her blood work. Why, you say. Because they need to check her a
