VEG ER for Pets

The staff and doctors here are top notch! I loved I was allowed stay overnight and watch my dog myself. They were so encouraging and supportive. We were lucky and were able to go home the next morning after a 12+ hour stay. I watched as patients came and went throughout the evening. The staff has a lot of heart. My experience with VEG Allen has been the best. I pray for the animals that are treated and the healing staff. Thanks to Drs. Duck and Koons, Carlos and Sarahy and other staff for your support.

Sarahy was an amazing nurse while caring for Royce, always making sure he was comfortable and okay while gathering all the necessary information and triaging every detail. She even helped me cut the pills in half, which I truly appreciated; her care was truly 10/10. Dr. Wilson was also very gentle and comforting, helping Royce feel safe throughout the visit while taking the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions. They are truly amazing people who genuinely care about helping our fur babies. Both were very knowledgeable and made me feel completely at ease. I also want to thank Gabriel, who helped me over the phone and provided great guidance and key points. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely return if any emergency comes up. Bringing a pet to an ER is never a fun experience. That being said, the VEG team was amazing. First, their concept is fascinating. We called first and were able to speak directly with a doctor who confirmed we should bring in our new kitten. When we arrived, we were taken straight into an open bay ER with other pet patients/parents. It was busy! Even so, triage was quickly performed right in front of us and we were allowed to assist with holding our cat in-between tests. Within minutes, they confirmed there was something wrong and quoted our work-up price. What I really liked... they didn't order anything unnecessary. We got our diagnosis & referral to a surgeon quickly. I pray it doesn't happen, but this is where I would go, without hesitation for any future pet emergencies. The photos ar

No one wants to end up having an emergency with your pet, but if you find yourself in that situation, there’s no better place to go than VEG Allen. They’re so incredibly friendly and were able to help my sweet boy through a few very scary days. Not only was every doctor and nurse we saw so caring and loving towards my very nervous dog, they were very empathetic and friendly to me as well, even letting me stay overnight and answering the many questions I had along the way. My baby is home now and continuing to improve. I know he was in the absolute best hands at VEG Allen and am so thankful to them for saving my precious boy ❤️

I took my parrot on Friday night due to her breathing heavy and sneezing. Luckily, she was okay and just has allergies and was itchy from her molting. The staff went above and beyond, they were charmed by my Yoshi. She got a free visit just like when I took her a few months ago when she had a nail cauterized due to it being cut too short/bleeding not stopping. I work a stressful job as a first responder in mental health, funds are tight. The staff treating Yoshi so kindly AND not charging me was 10/10 and a relief to me. This recent visit, the vet was very busy with multiple exotic clients. My animals are my world. I will continue to go to this ER for any other after hours emergencies.
