Petfolk Veterinary & Urgent Care - Allen

R.I.H to my dearest kitten, Blu Bennett, who fought so hard for his life today at Petfolk in Frisco. My sister and niece rescued Blu and trusted me to take him in, giving him a loving home even though he was very sick. I did everything I could to get him the best care, taking him to the vet in Allen/Frisco, TX, in hopes of helping him heal. Sadly, Blu couldn’t make it to his next appointment on January 17th. In the one week Blu spent with me, he became so close to me, my girls, and my two other cats. I never expected to fall in love with him, but I did. His playful spirit, following me around the house, and just being spoiled with love made me smile every day. Really appreciate the staff here at Pet Folks - Allen, Tx. Everyone is so kind, patient and genuinely excited to see and take care of your dogs. We’ve seen a couple other vets and techs who have been great in the past, but today we had to make two trips to knock vaccinations out and the team was amazing. Dr. Calhoun, Dr. Franklin, Kiara and Karen were all wonderful with our 3 dogs. Giving a 130lb Rottweiler, a 50lb lab mix and an 8lb Terrier/Chihuahua shots and a nasal spray is no simple task, but they accomplished it with ease and kept our dogs comfortable! Thank you guys! I truly appreciate Dr. Calhoun and the care he provides for my dog Sadie. From routine visits to procedures, he and his team keep me informed every step of the way and always take great care of her. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and attentive vet!

My Precious is 3.3 pounds today and loves to go to see Dr. Calhoun and his staff. She doesn’t get scared when she goes there even if there’s big dogs hanging out in the lobby she just is calm, cool and collected because of the beautiful atmosphere that has been created for our little babies. A particularly valuable aspect is their flexibility in scheduling appointments at alternative clinics if their primary location is unavailable on a specific day.
