Babcock Hills Veterinary Hospital

I've taken my two cats here for years now and it's a fantastic facility. They have a separate waiting area just for cats to help keep their anxiety down for what is already a stressful visit. The last two times I've come, Phoenix, has been the vet tech and has always shown great empathy and care for my girls. Even going as far to help clean my cat up when she had a poop accident on the way to the vet. I truly feel they are safe when they come to visit. This review was completely unsolicited, which I feel is an important disclosure to make when giving a Google review.

They took very good care of my dog. They called ahead to ask about her personality and history. Took great measures to adjust to her needs. All staff were polite and professional. I highly recommend bringing your pet here.

I want to say thank you to Dr. Gail Ramsey, for having taken care of my pet, Lulu, for many years. As many of you know, shopping for vets can be extremely frustrating, and there are many poorly ran clinics, blatant rip-offs, rushed or unprofessional vets, and untrustworthy staff. Babcock Hills exemplifies what the vet industry should be. Dr. Ramsey had an incredible bedside manner with my pet, explained everything in detail to me, and was very thorough during consultations every time - breaking down difficult concepts and options while exploring what would lead to the best outcome for my dear friend. I truly thank Dr. Ramsey and her team for providing outstanding service that gave Lulu an excellent quality of life through every scenario, with consistency, and in a comfortable neighborhood

Dr Gomes took care of all 3 of my fur babies over the years - moose, rocky, & Sadie. (Thyroid issues, bit paw, broken foot, annual check ups, and everything in between!) I was so sad to leave San Antonio & had to find another vet. But she was always so good to my doggies - the whole staff was great. Definitely recommend! 🤍

I recommend Babcock Hills Veterinary Hospital. My fur baby has reached the end of her wonderful life. I came here because they were super helpful in helping me arranging her cremation. So if you’re looking for a good veterinarian I say give this place a try.
